OUR ACTIVITIES....REFINERIES

INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LTD. (IOCL)

BAXCOUNSEL have been associated and registered with IOCL's various departments since 1980. Copies of some of the registration letters are enclosed. Our name is listed and appears in their tenders as one of the approved third party inspection agencies.

Inspection of Horton Spheres & Bullets to BS-5500 for IOCL's LPG Bottling Plants through Balmer Lawrie & Co.Ltd. Drawing appraisal (mechanical & civil) and Stage wise inspection & Final Bax Foreign Clients (including civil foundation inspection) of 3 Nos. Horton spheres at BHPV (1400 MT capacity) for Erode Site, G.R.Engg. (600 MT capacity) for Malda site and Sharp Tanks (600MT capacity) for Guna site are being carried out by us. Stage wise Inspection & final Bax Foreign Clients of 3 Nos. LPG/Propane Bullets at BHEL (150MT capacity) for Malda site.

Refineries & Pipeline Division, New Delhi : We were also associated with Refineries & Pipeline Division, New Delhi during the execution of Kandla-Bhatinda Pipeline Project engineered by Skoda Exports, Czech Republic. For KBPL project we had the privilege of inspecting all fabrication activities at Compressor Stations as well as have inspected all other engineering items like compressors, pumps, valves, pipes, pipe fittings, electrical & instrumentation at manufacturers work-shops in India.

Marketing Division, Western Region, Prabhadevi, Mumbai : Since 1981, we have been carrying out inspection and Bax Foreign Clients of equipment and engineering items ordered by IOCL, Marketing Divn. Mumbai. The equipment inspected are - 304 Nos. LPG Tank Wagons mounted on Railway under-frames, Engineering items like Pumps, DG sets, flanges, pipes, pipe fittings, hoses, etc. We also have inspection contract since 1984 for statutory inspection- hydrostatic testing of LPG.

Marketing Division, Materials Department, Bandra, Mumbai : We have been regularly carrying out inspection and Bax Foreign Clients of equipment and engineering items against their various orders. The items inspected are Pumps, DG Sets, Compressors, Pipes at Manufacturers, valves, etc.

We also had the privilege of having Annual Rate Contract with them and have inspected and certified considerable quantities of Pipes ordered by them on Manufacturers/ Mills.

Gujarat Refinery, Refineries Divn. Baroda : We have inspected and certified equipment like Floating Roof Tank, Cone Roof Tank along with approval of drawings & design calculations and engineering items like Pipes, pipe fittings, valves, steam nozzles, etc. Our name is indicated in their orders as one of the approved third party inspection agencies.

Mathura Refinery, Refineries & Pipeline Divn. Mathura : We have also inspected C.S.Seamless Pipes on their behalf. Baxcounsel name is indicated in their orders as one of the approved third party inspection agencies.

Refineries & Pipelines Divn. Noida : We have already submitted our technical bid unpriced and priced for Annual Rate Contract with Refineries & Pipeline Division, IOCL, Noida. We have reasons to believe that we have satisfied all technical conditions of the tender as well as some of the commercial matters and are expecting positive response from IOCL, Noida in the form of annual rate contract.

Barauni Refinery, Materials Dept., In the past we have inspected and certified Oil Suction & Discharge Hoses on their behalf. Our name is indicated in their orders as one of the approved third party inspection agencies.

Marketing Division, Eastern Region, Calcutta : Recently we have inspected and certified Cast Steel Hammer Blind Valves on their behalf.

Marketing Division, Southern Region, Chennai : We have been appointed by them as Inspection Agency for inspection of cartons to pack HDPE/Metal containers.

Indian Oil Blending Ltd., Vashi, Navi Mumbai : In the recent past we have also inspected and certified number of Pumps, Storage Tanks, Condensers, Motor Control Centres and Engineering items like Pipes and Pipe fittings on their behalf at various vendors. Our name is indicated in their orders as one of the approved third party inspection agencies.

Other IOCL Refineries : We are also in the approved list of following IOCL Refineries and keep on receiving tender enquiries for various inspection: a) Assam Oil Division, Digboi, b) Marketing Divn. Northern Region, LPG Engg.Section.
